The
Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Club (“CTGiants”) will open their 2005
season this Sunday on the road against the Brooklyn Jazz at 1:00 PM at Brooklyn
Technical High School. “We’re
excited about the 2005 season” said Head Coach and Owner Tim Andrews, “we
have our core veterans returning and have added youth and speed where we need
it.”
The
CTGiants’ home opener is the following Saturday at 6:15 PM against the Long
Island Ravens at Jonathan Law High School in Milford.
The
CTGiants finished the 2004 season 8-3-1, and ranked among the top teams in the
east by the Eastern Football Alliance poll.
