The Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Club (6-1) is back in action on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 6:00 PM against the Empire State Titans at home, Jonathan Law High School in Milford.
The CTGiants v. Titans game was originally scheduled to be played as part of the Playmakers Classic Invitation Bowl Game at Kennedy Stadium in Bridgeport on that same afternoon. The promoters of the Playmakers Classic, however, were unable to secure the necessary arrangements with the City to ensure a successful event. “We’re just as happy to play at home” said Head Coach and Owner Tim Andrews, “while a bowl game setting would have been fun, we’re more focused on winning games to ensure a good spot in the UFL playoffs this October.”
To learn more about the CTGiants and to confirm game dates and times, visit the CTGiants website at www.ctgiants.com or contact the team at (203) 856-3885 or (203) 685-2469.
