While the 2004 season is over for Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Club (“CTGiants”), the team’s work in the community continues.  Through our “Giants In The Community” program (“GITC”), the team will co-sponsor a blood drive at Milford Hospital with the Red Cross of Milford during the afternoon of January 27, 2005.

The blood drive follows the CTGiants and GITC’s “Adopt a Child for Christmas” event with the Bridgeport Housing Authority on December 21, 2004.  At the ceremony, CTGiants players and coaches awarded 28 kids with recognition and gifts, and spoke of the value of community service and hard work. GITC also participated the Thanksgiving food drive for the Pivot Ministries Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Norwalk, Connecticut.

The CTGiants finished the 2004 season 8-3-1, and ranked among the top teams in the east by the Eastern Football Alliance poll.  To learn more about the CTGiants, visit  www.ctgiants.com or contact the team at (203) 260-1553.
