SEMI-PRO FOOTBALL

The Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Team finished the regular season last Sunday with a 14-14 tie against the still undefeated New Jersey Terminators.  The CTGiants defensive unit once again kept the team in the game, keeping the Terminators to 180 total yards, and two interceptions for touchdowns by CTGiants captain, Joe Burns. The team’s regular season record was 7-2-1, with 187 points scored, against 75 surrendered. 

 

The CTGiants open the first round of the UFL playoffs at home this Sunday against the Empire State Titans at Foran High School in Milford at 1:00 PM.  Admission is $8 for adults, free for kids 12 and under.  This week, any kid wearing his or her school football jersey gets in for half price.
