SEMI-PRO FOOTBALL
The Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Team won their
opening playoff game against the Empire State Titans 7-6. Despite amassing impressive yardage throughout
the game, the CTGiants’ scoring efforts were thwarted by turnovers and dropped
passes. The team’s only touchdown came
on a 30 yard draw from Billy Fletcher.
The CTGiants, who finished the regular season 7-2-1, move
on to the second round of the UFL Northern Division playoffs to face the New
York Bandits (9-1) this Sunday in the Bronx.
The UFL Championship game between the winners of the Northern Division
