The Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Team is now 7-2 after defeating the Westchester Steelers last Sunday 14-7.  The CTGiants defensive unit was the star of the game, keeping the Steelers to a paltry 55 yards in total offense.  The Steelers’ only score came on a 35 yard fumble recovery and return in the first quarter.  The CTGiants scored before the half on a screen pass from QB Craig Dobson to A.J. Sandella, who broke away and ran 45 yards for the TD.  The CTGiants went ahead for good in the third on a 55 yard bomb from Dobson to Jason Davis

The team returns home this Sunday afternoon against UFL powerhouse the New Jersey Terminators (9-0) at 5:00 PM at Foran High School in Milford.  The game is crucial to determine the CTGiants placement in the UFL payoffs.
