While the 2004 season is over for Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Club (“CTGiants”), the team’s work in the community continues.  The CTGiants are proud to announce that, through its “Giants In The Community” program (“GITC”), the team is sponsoring an “Adopt a Child for Christmas” event with the Bridgeport Housing Authority.  The ceremony will occur in Bridgeport at the Marina Village Community Room, 733 South Avenue on December 21, 2004 at 6 p.m.  At the ceremony, 28 selected kids will receive recognition and a gift from CTGiants players.

The “Adopt a Child for Christmas” program follows GITC’s successful participation in the Thanksgiving food drive for the Pivot Ministries Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Norwalk, Connecticut.

The CTGiants finished the 2004 season 8-3-1, and ranked among the top teams in the east by the Eastern Football Alliance poll.  To learn more about the CTGiants, visit  www.ctgiants.com or contact the team at (203) 260-1553.
