The Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Team is now 4-1 after defeating the New Jersey Fire 28-0 on Saturday August 28 at Milford’s Jonathan Law High School.  CTGiants QB Craig Dobsen started the scoring on a 4 yard QB keeper late in the first, and followed on the next drive with a 50 yard bullet to Jason Davis to go up 14-0.  In the third quarter, A.J. Sandella capped off a 7 minute drive with a 11 yard TD run complete with a leap over a defender to touch the flag with the ball.  Fullback Keith Welch made it 28-0 on bruising 8 yard run in the fourth.

 

The CTGiants’ next game is this Sunday, September 12 against the Brooklyn Seminoles in New York.  The team returns home on September 25, 2004 against the Empire State Titans.
