
The Connecticut Giants Semi-Pro Football Team is now 4-1
after defeating the New Jersey Fire 28-0 on Saturday August 28 at Milford’s
Jonathan Law High School. CTGiants QB
Craig Dobsen started the scoring on a 4 yard QB keeper late in the first, and
followed on the next drive with a 50 yard bullet to Jason Davis to go up
14-0. In the third quarter, A.J.
Sandella capped off a 7 minute drive with a 11 yard TD
run complete with a leap over a defender to touch the flag with the ball. Fullback Keith Welch made it 28-0 on bruising
8 yard run in the fourth.
The CTGiants’ next game is this Sunday, September 12
against the Brooklyn Seminoles in
Admission is $8 for adults, free for kids 12 and
